Lewys is a creator and pop culture commentator.
Born in Scotland, based in South London.
Lewys found fame on YouTube in 2017.
For his first ever job he booked as the first male face of Rimmel UK.
An early highlight was hosting the CBBC Music Chart show for 5 years. It was filmed in the R1 Live Lounge at Broadcasting House. Lewys later became the red carpet correspondent for the BRITs.
In 2024 Lewys created ‘Puh-Leez’ the live, monthly pop culture IRL Quiz which continues to this day. The event series has partnered with brands like Kate Spade, Google Pixel and Motel Rocks.
Lewys has been the pop culture columnist for Notion Magazine since 2022.
On his YouTube channel, Lewys films video essays where he deep dives into topics like the ‘Pop Girls of 2024’, ‘The Rise and Fall of WAGs’, ‘Is Coachella Dying?’.
Over on his TikTok and Instagram, Lewys is known for his insightful and fun takes on Music, TV and Film. ‘Every film I saw in 2025’, ‘25 best albums of 2025’.
He also DJs and has a dog named Prince.
